Client:
Cleopatra hospital received its first patient in 1984. The services offered
focus on two major aspects, clinical excellence & ethical conduct, in a cost
effective single source solution. The new building annexed to the hospital early
1999 is a material testimony to the hospital's success.
The
Challenge:
A request to offer online reservation to the hospital's specialized clinics. The
reservation should be seamless and simple to the end-user and should be in both
Arabic and English. The patient should be able to view a specific physician's
schedule of available timing online and the reservation should be reflected in
real time to avoid overbooking.
The NetWave Solution:
NetWave used its "Ehgez" online reservation engine to empower the required
system. Users are able to view an online calendar for each clinic and each
doctor that is updated in real-time whenever it is changed. The system is
comprised of 3 modules; the static information about the hospital and its
services in both English & Arabic. The online bilingual reservation system; and
the online back-end administration.

The
reservation module allows a patient to book online a required time based on his
desired doctor and time. A detailed online calendar is available to assist the
user. An advanced search engine is implemented to enable quick search for a
specific specialization on a specific date.

The back-end
administration module allows the hospital to change the schedules for each
doctor and whenever they wish.
Also they are able to monitor the online reservations and have complete reports
on the performance of each clinic and doctor.
